Silas and Nick bonded over a mutual feeling to pursue something greater. While at Uncle Johnny's in TN, a popular stop for through hikers on the Appalachian Trail, Nick was asking other hikers to do pushups with him. A lot of hikers did not like the idea of doing extra than what they were already asking their bodies to do, walk anywhere from 5-25+ miles a day, an already difficult task for the average person. The connection that Silas and Nick made over simply enjoying whatever was happening at the time, with the ups and downs in 2023 during the hike, was palpable. That sense for grit in a position of fatigue led them to share a feeling of persistence. To chip away at a common goal and feel accomplished when the work is done. Both Silas and Nick strive to implement those same core values, developed on the Appalachian Trail, into our business model.
